WORKSHOP TIMINGS: 7pm to 9:30pm

SUITABILITY: This evening workshop is offered to Mountain Training Association members who may have little, or no experience, of indoor bouldering/climbing but keen to explore the basic techniques on which further skills can be built upon.

WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES: Through discussion, demonstration, explanation and attendee practical application, the workshop will provide an introduction to the foundation techniques of indoor bouldering/climbing footwork.

There will be a period of warm up/mobilisation techniques, followed by footwork 'drills', before bouldering on routes.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED: Personal clothing suitable for stretching and movement associated with bouldering/climbing. Climbing shoe hire is included in the £8 entry fee to The Climbing Hub for workshop attendees.

CPD: This workshop gains MTA members 1 CPD point on attendance.

INCLUDED: Workshop leadership, planning, organisation and instruction by fully qualified, experienced and Mountain Training Association approved workshop provider.

NOT INCLUDED: Travel, accommodation, any other expenses such as parking fees, etc. 

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend taking out travel, personal accident and cancellation insurance.
