PRICE: £30 per person

The route of this one day guided walk will take you to the foot of the famous Pen y Ghent, where we will undoubtedly join 'Yorkshire Three Peakers' for a the ascent to the summit. On reaching the the summit we will escape the crowds by heading towards Plover Hill, with our circular route allowing great views of this hill often overlooked.

We will stop at 'Hull Pot', the largest natural hole in England, then head to Horton in Ribblesdale for a refreshment break. The walk back to Helwith Bridge will follow the River Ribble.

DURATION: 1 Day (9am to 4/5pm approx.)

MEETING LOCATION: Helwith Bridge (Free Parking)

REQUIREMENTS: Those joining this 1 day guided walk should have an adequate level of fitness needed for a full days walking in hilly countryside, and also have appropriate clothing and equipment for the conditions to gain the most from the day. 

Those attending should be in possession of all items listed on kit list (which will be sent out with information pack on booking). 

INCLUDED: Route leadership, planning, organisation and information by fully qualified and experienced mountain leader.

NOT INCLUDED: Travel, accommodation, any other expenses such as parking fees, etc. We also do not provide any travel or personal accident insurance.

N.B: It may be necessary to take an alternative route from that originally outlined should conditions on the day warrant so.
