HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY


Your Mountain Challenge and Your Mountain Adventure reserves the right to modify or cancel advertised courses due to safety considerations or other factors beyond our control (see booking conditions).


DISCLOSURE 

 To help us to help you, we ask that you disclose any relevant information relating to your health or capabilities on the Medical and Participation Form. All information supplied will be treated sensitively and in strict confidence. This enables us to make informed decisions in order to cater to your individual needs. 

Participants are expected to have a realistic level of fitness to participate in their chosen course or challenge.Your Mountain Challenge and Your Mountain Adventure may require any participant to leave the course or challenge if that person acts in any such manner as to endanger himself/herself or any other person, or if a participant is not of a suitable standard to be on that particular course or challenge. In this instance no refund for that persons place on the course or challenge will be given.

Under 18’s are welcome to participate in our challenges, adventures and courses at the same cost of an adult place. However, we require this person to be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Any other adult supervisor is not legally acceptable. For under 18’s, our Medical and Participation form must be completed and signed by the person’s parent or guardian and their date of birth disclosed.


EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING

Participants must provide their own equipment and clothing, unless otherwise specified/arranged. All equipment must be suitable and will be checked by the course or challenge leader. We reserve the right to decline participation in an activity if a participant’s clothing and equipment is not suitable and we feel the unsuitability may cause danger to the participant. In this instance no refund for that persons place on the course will be given.

Damage or loss to any equipment supplied by Your Mountain Challenge or Your Mountain Adventure, caused by negligence, malicious acts or carelessness must be paid for at the time at current replacement value as determined by the company.Advice is given on matters such as equipment selection, medical and fitness requirements but it remains the responsibility of the individual to make such necessary arrangements as advised. 


 This Health & Safety Policy forms an integral part of our Booking Terms & Conditions which must be read, understood, and agreed to upon placement of any booking.
