Snowdonia Mountain Skills are passionate about the outdoors and have many years of experience which they strive to pass on to their clients. With Snowdonia Mountain Skills you will get experienced & enthusiastic instructors and trainers who want the best for their clients. They are based in Snowdonia, North Wales, and run courses throughout the year in Snowdonia as well as the very popular ‘Rum Assessment’ on the Isle of Rum (Scotland).
Mckinlay mountaineering deliver Mountain Leader training and assessment programs to the highest standard. Courses are based in a number of locations including Llanberis, Eskdale and Borrowdale.

They are providers of the Mountain Training Coaching Scheme and also deliver the BMC FUNdamentals/Mountaineering Scotland workshops in Yorkshire, North East England & South East Scotland.

McKinlay Mountaineering are specialists in providing Mountain Trainings Rock Climbing Instructor/RCI , Rock Climbing Development Instructor/RCDI, Climbing Wall Instructor/CWI and the Climbing Wall Development Instructor/CWDI Award schemes to the highest standard.
WINTER MOUNTAINEERING & WINTER SKILLS COURSES
The mountains in winter time can be an awe inspiring place to be, although with the added beauty and level of adventure comes an added element of risk. It is more than wise to seek professional expertise and gain an introduction to the added considerations and skills required in winter.
Both Rob & Huw hold the Winter Mountaineering And Climbing Instructor qualification (formerly the Mountaineering Instructor Certificate), which is the highest instructional qualification in the UK. Expedition Guide provide a range of winter courses including Scottish Winter Skills, Scottish Winter Mountaineering, Avalanche Avoidance and Torridon Winter Mountaineering all based in Scotland. They also off a fantastic Ice Climbing week based in Rjukan Norway.
